Björn Nyman Online

My name is Björn Nyman, as You probably already know. I was born in November 1975. I grew up in a little town called Närpes, on the west-coast of Finland. My family is my parents Sven & Britty and my older brother Hans. He is now living in Stockholm (Sweden) with Nina and their son Gabriel. My girlfriend's name is Anna-Petra and we met about four years ago.

I got my matriculation exam 1994 when I graduated from Närpes Gymnasium. The same year I was accepted to the Swedish school of Economics and Business Administration (Hanken) in Vasa. At first I was not much into economics but as time went by I got to like it more and more. Now I don't regret for a second that I chose economics. I graduated autumn 2000. I have studied mostly within my major finance and within my sub-major accounting. I have also studied computer science and statistics. I wrote my seminar for the Närko group, a big trailer-manufacturer.

You could say that I am a sport-fanatic. Since I was a little kid I've been doing all kind of sports. For example; soccer, ice-hockey, tennis and basketball. But as I got older it was soccer that I liked the most. I still do other sports when I have the time and opportunity. My studies have taken a little bit longer than normal because of my soccer-playing.

I am much into to computers and especially Internet and web-design. I teach myself new things about Internet and web-design all the time. I think that the Internet is going to change peoples lives a lot in the future.

One of my biggest interests is music, especially rock-music. Every now and then I also play the guitar myself. As often as possible I spend time with my friends. When I am not doing any of the above I am probably just being at home watching a movie, reading a book or following the stockmarkets.

I am ambitious and prepared to work a lot to achieve my goals. I am not afraid of taking responsibility and working under pressure. I easily learn new things and I like challenges. I also think that I have a good analytical ability.

I like meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. Qualities that I appreciate is honesty, humor and humility. I also consider myself to be an outgoing person that is familiar with teamwork.
